Might I ask which specification vibrant you all are using?? Thinking about the resonator delete pipe I have but might be interested in throwing one of these in

I think replacing the resonator would be a better option as from all of the resonator delete videos I’ve watched on YouTube it seems to give the car an, in my opinion, bad sounding rasp or something like that. It just doesn’t sound very refined but an aftermarket resonator would eliminate that rasp. Or that’s what I’ve concluded thus far.

I just ordered my resonator. I’ll put up a video of how it sounds when I get it installed. I have a cat less DP as well.

I found a good video of a gti with a DP and a vibrant resonator with stock suitcase. I think it’s the perfect combo. I had the Cobb turboback exhaust and I’m more in favor of how this set up sounds.

Thank you!! Are you having it welded in by a shop or are you cutting the old one out and using slip-fit clamps before committing it to welds?

Going to fully commit and have an exhaust shop weld it in from the get go. I don’t think I’ll be disappointed and if I regret it I can always add another resonator or put the stock one back in.
I’m really curious to try out a custom cat back using three of these resonators. 1 where the stock one is and 2 replacing the suitcase haha

Not sure about using three of these in that fashion. Wouldn’t smaller mufflers be more sufficient then another pair of resonators?

I would facepalm myself too if I got rid of that beautiful sounding cobb
