when/how do you turn on your A/C?

Cold start...i let it idle until rpms drop then turn on AC on auto..

Otherwise....i tirn AC on right away.

I turn it off before shutting down the engine.

Basically we have to use the AC most of the year.

I let my RPMS drop and it put the car in gear. And then about 5 mins before i turn off the car I turn off the A/C to let it out of the lines... im alittle anal though..

Roll windows down. Fuck using the A/C. I can't stand the loss of response and power. That's the one fault I find with 4 cylinder engines. It's less noticeable, or nonexistent in 6 cyls and higher.

Same here although if I don't actually need it, I make sure that it is run for at least a half a hours per week to keep the seals supple and lubricated.

I turn mine on when slowing towards a light then try to make it with it off 'till I'm back up to cruising speed. *Flamesuit*

When I turn the car on, the a/c turns on as I leave it set to dial 1 pretty much 24/7. We don't drive exotic cars, nothing wrong with using a/c when you want/need it...

haven't used it much since the temps are cool throughout the day as of late, but when I do use it I roll down the windows first to let out the excess heat since I don't have tint before I turn it on...
