ive been looking at the hankook ventus v12 and apparently a lot of people on here like them. any downfalls to getting them or is there something better for that price range?

DWS are impossible to find right now.
For all seasons, I went for General G-Max - which is a buy cheaper than the DWS, but still with great reviews. I have only good things to say about them.

For the price, nothing can touch the Hankook V12 for a performance summer tire. Hard to recommend a tire without you telling us what your priorities are. I'm on my 4th set of Ventus V12 for the street though, if that tells you anything.

V12s are the best dry performance tires for the price you pay in that range. Period.
If you are DD, maybe 1 or 2 track days, go for it. Discount tire direct is where I suggest you buy them.

If you can afford it, get the PSS. I wouldnt spend anything more than 1000 on the PSS tho.
