12V Cigarette Lighter Quick Q

So I'm going to be using my cigarette lighter as means to tap into for switched power to power up my Snow performance Meth controller.

Now I took it all apart but when looking at it there are 3 wires. One is brown which i'm assuming would be ground? The second is white and red and the third is white. I'm not sure which one is the hot wire... any ideas?

center wire should be 12v+ switched. the thin one is for lighting, which means the last one is ground.

i only know this because i had mine apart recently.
