Its really amazing to me how far this car has come in less then a year.
the outcome is amazing. Thanks To everyone on this forum for showing me ways to do things and giving me the kick in the ass to get this car low. Especially You Mr. Bowers.


Update: 2-12-13
just cut off my rear suitcase, not a huge diffrence and i dont really like that its not the loud. I think i might cut off the resonator (2) and install an aftermarket muffler, probally magnaflow. and see from there. Anyone try something like this?

Update: 9-18-13
Dropping off the car for AIR installation tomorrow. i am very excited. other things that have been done are plastishit wheels white and a gti exhaust and rear valence.Also added TDI fog lights and rear wiper delete. (resonator delete soon) PICS UP SOON..

I honestly kind of like it with that ride height. I would get some taller sidewall tires with some knobbier tread and rock it as is!

You know, the Tiguan Suspension DOES fit on the MKV/MKVI.....all you need are end links....

Although, I like the way this heading. Personally, I think a Golf of that nature with some fender mods, bigger tires, maybe some tubular body armor would bring back some of the dune buggy style Beetles of the day. Plus, murdered out like that is pretty sweet. A 4motion swap...maybe a GTX28 turbo....you'll have yourself a nice mule to go offroading in...I'm dead serious.

Are you going bags or static, when you finally decide to lower it.

There is really something wrong with your stock height. Have you talked to your dealer about it?

Do Canadian Golfs get taller springs? Wasn't it like that for the MKv GTIs too?
