Turbo spool?

Just had a quick question... Can you hear the turbo spool through APR TBE? I know on some cars, SRT4 for ex, you can hear the turbo spool after just a DP. Is it the same for the GTI? or are we doomed to never hear our turbo's spool?

I have a tune and I dont hear crap, rest of the car is stock though. Probably intake and downpipe should bring on some noise.

Wow that was kinda annoying, the whistle. Whooshing sound is what I like with turbos.

ok then if you are tuned try putting it 4th at say 1800rpm then apply 3/4 throttle up to 4500 rpm and you should CLEARLY hear the turbo with or without intake..

wouldn't upgrading the blow off valve give it the whooh sound??? I would like it to sound like a WRX too...

our cars don't have a blow off valve, it's a diverter valve. If you want that bov sound you can get a forge dv spacer.
