GIAC tune without ECU removal

I called a shop to see about pricing for the tune, and they mentioned that the ecu did not have to be removed.... is this right??

I would be very wary ... Sounds like they don't even realize the 2010's ECU must be removed ... The MKV's didn't but the MK6 does!

i wouldn't. i spend hours researching and looking for reviews for anything im going to buy lol

confirmed with GIAC, the shop didnt know what they were talking about.

Anyone hear anything about Unitronic. Can't find anything about their numbers. But right now, in order to have them do it, you'd have to ship them your ECU and they'll send it back when they're done.
