Does the SRI add VOLUME to the intake sound over just having a cold air or short ram intake?
I was pretty dissapointed in the very small amount of volume the the Peeflow or the Carbonio gave us.. (was hoping for Vr6 growl)

AWE downpipe w/ Magnaflow cat-back...
Would the sound/drone be very annoying if I were to do a RES delete on the DP? Also since it's catted I wouldn't lose any HP w/ back-pressure needed for the TSI. Thoughts?

im kinda afraid of that. my borla sounds sexy as hell right now….but its a $600 noise maker, i want a lil boost in power. i plan on getting up to stage 1 & 2 but that won't be til after the winter most likely…wheel spin and chicago snow sucks bad…but anyway, what dp you recommend to mate with the borla cbe??:iono:

lol you got a GTI, this is a 2.5L engine thread.
But I'll answer you anyways. Any downpipe will be a little louder up top, so slight drone, but still it won't be that bad.
