I have 120k miles on my 2009 GTI.
I cleaned my valves at ~76k miles and they werent that bad at all. With that said 80% of my driving is on the highway and I do longer drives as in STL I drove ~30miles each way to work and now I drive ~45miles each way to work.
Ive had a VTA/dump tube catch can on my car since ~30k miles and w/m since ~45k miles.
I have been running direct port injection w/m sinec I cleaned my valves at 76k miles and will be pulling my manifold later this spring and we will see how my valves look then.
