What is the Part Number of item number 3 in this picture? Furthermore, what else do I have to purchase in addition to this part number to install it?
I had fitted it, but I don't recommend it.
It needs to be trimmed to fit on a stock GTI. The pictured TDI does not have
the center muffler the GTI comes with. However, it will fit easily if you run an
aftermarket center muffler delete exhaust.
For those who installed the TT rear trailing arm covers, how did you deal with the bracket for the emergency brake cable?
I removed the rivet to get the cover installed, but then there doesn't appear to be any way to reinstall that bracket.
Thanks,
Mike
FYI, ECS sells a composite skid plate that is pretty cool. They gave me a pdf of the install, which has pictures of the metal one they no longer carry.

1. I bought mine from ECS. The price is $400 and the PN for the kit on their site is 1K0098001.
The PN breakdown is:
Skid plate - 1K0 018 930 D
Arm - 1K0 018 926 B
Hex Head bolts (M12x1.5x80) - (2x) N 105 056 01
Hex Head bolt (M8x30) - (1x) N 101 281 10
Hex Head bolts (M8x16) - (4x) N 104 032 01
Carrier - 1K0 018 936 B
Retainer Bracket (Left) - 1K0 018 965 E (this is the bracket that hits the SAP on my GTI)
Retainer Bracket (Right) - 1K0 018 966 E
Hex Nut (M8) - N 907 611 01
Rivited Cap Nut - (3x) N 904 460 03
Socket Head Bolt (M10x30) - (5x) N 909 650 02
2. No noticeable change in cabin noise. I just want the plate to be complete so I am adding the sound absorber which costs about $90 more.
