I have a different opinion on that.

A women can get laid anytime she wants. All she needs to do is annonce she wants it. There is no challenge. So if she has a lot of partners, she is seen as having no self control or some other undesirable issues.

A man however must have something that makes him desirable to women, whether its a a leaned skill or just looking good. So there is a challenge and work involved.
