My M was 3200rpm at 80mph :lol: didn't bug me then and the wife's GTI doesn't bug me now with the revs being "high" 80mph.

We have a 75mph speed limit btw

I also appreciate all the good info on this 3k rpm around 70mph. I. Just bought my Gti this month and the prior owner had added some nice looking Golf R LED tails.. So I was curious what stock Rpm was during highway cruising. Can't tell if he had added ECU mod. This was bought from Porsche dealer to a VW dealer. Just over 8k miles on it.. So I got a new 2012 Gti when 2014 are on lot. .
