dealer has no service that involves a tear down for carbon cleaning. AFAIK

they have a 3 step fuel system service which involves solvent into the TB but its effectiveness for valve cleaning is negligible, IMO.

would u want to pay 115-125/hr dealer labor fees for a tear down carbon cleaning anyway?

Each dealer is different. My dealer offered it to me. I forget the cost though.

right, im sure they can do it if u ask, but the 40,000 fuel system deal isnt even close.

85-95/hr labor at a tuner shop vs 115-125/hr vw dealer labor. around here anyway

hey John. I installed a new KO4 TOP Sunday i had to test for fitment. Today i check for misfires in neutral and i dont think i had any.

Granted, i was stopped at a light when i did it and not using vagcom but i can usually hear and feel them.

intriguing.....will test with vagcom as soon as i can.

been running stock pancake TOP previously with all other bolt ons of larger diameter, flow etc.
