Any idea how I can get a recording of the intake sound? I want to make a comparo video of the unitronic vs carbonio sounds.

do you hav access to a Go-pro? i would place it on the hood. and do comparo's like that.

Installed a unitronic intake on Sunday. It's much louder than the carbonio. GFB+ going in soon. I have been told it will eliminate the pigeon orgy going on under the hood.

I also discovered a new found creak when I turn the steering wheel at low speeds. I suspect the CV joints need to be regreased.

Got my starter replaced today to fix the squeal I was having. I also had them replace the hood liner since it was coming off. It looks like an updated part as it looks and feels different:

..and I'm back at VW.

20 days ago I got my starter replaced... today I have no heat and its in the teens outside. I'm guessing my water pump has kicked the can since I was low on coolant not too long ago (I refilled it).

What kind of damage did you suffer from that thing?
