MK6 GTI Baseline Dyno Pulls (Graph + Video)

@autowerks

Ready to race!
Hey Guys,

We're going to be building up this MK6 GTI over the next fews days and our first order of business was to get baseline dyno numbers from the car bone stock. Impressively enough the car produced crank horsepower numbers at the wheels! Typically you'll have a drivetrain loss of around 17% which would put crank horsepower at around 220 and crank torque at 230. Not bad for a car with sixty miles on it.

@autowerks, do you think you will get the sames result with a '09 GTI TSI engine ?

if no, VW changed the ECU mapping ?

I don't know much about VW AFR's, do they normally run that lean in the midrange RPM's? In the Asian market we usually keep AFR's around 11.3-11.5 at wide open throttle. Just curious for my knowledge. The upper range looks good...middle raises hair on my neck.

Thanks,
Chris
