That's going to be awesome. I assume VW will just detune the engine some. But if the S3 is at 300hp stock, I wonder what that engine can do with just a Stage 1 ECU upgrade.

I don't think it'll be detuned, the current S3 2.0 TFSI produces 195KW roughly 265HP, and the R has 199KW (270). So, the R would be the full 300 or a bit more. Then again the Golf RS, if it will exist, will supposedly have the 2.5 TFSI from the current RS3 and TTRS :drool:

Since I won't be purchasing anything until my car is paid off, in a bit less than 3 years, I'm still hoping the Golf RS comes to fruition.
