Hello, my golf is leaking oil, i found it ontop of the gearbox and has a weird noise screeching... what will i be looking into from here. I wanna take it up to a mechanic tomorrow ...
Is it gear oil? That would help eliminate engine vs tranny. I am not real familiar with the golf or your motor.
But..i would clean it all off and look for the highest point it could be leaking from.
