Thanks! Besides not being lowered or having wheel spacers I'm super stoked with how the car looks right now!

I hope this doesn't change your opinion about it! :)

Hope I'm not overdoing the wrapping.. Decided to follow my riceburner dreams and wrap the panel trim on the doors and above the glovebox as well. Seems subtle enough and looks real enough without looking too chintzy, IMO.

Also put in my ETX16L Battery today. Thing must weigh like 6-7 lbs! Easy swap with screw in terminal adapters. It's pretty much just ziptied down... but it's secured. Not pictured. Lol. So with removing the spare tires (replaced with electronic air pump and some plugs if ever needed) I'm probably down a good 60 lbs!

Finally had the chance to give the engine bay a thorough workover and cleaning!

It wasn't too bad to begin with minus some serious oxidation on all the aluminum, and the usual oil seepage around the valve cover. Dust and road grime wasn't too bad.

Warmed the engine up half way, then rinsed it off
Sprayed everything quite liberally in an all purpose degreaser and engine cleaner in some areas
Used various brushes to get at the underside of the hood, then every little nook and cranny i could get a brush into.
Worked over the aluminum with some brass brushes to clean up most of the oxidation.
Rinse off
Drive it around for about 15 minutes to evaporate any water
Re-wash car
Dry the bay and wipe up any excess with a towel, dress everything in some trim restore.
Looks ok to me!
