Rumble beneath driver's side footwell

serpico

Passed Driver's Ed
I've noticed that when I get to about 70 mph I feel what I can only describe as a rumble underneath my feet. It's more of a vibration. It's quite annoying. This is a new vehicle, 200 miles. I know the post is pretty vague, but maybe this is something normal that you folks can decipher out of my poor description.

I only ask because I never felt this in my MKV.

Also, vibration does not seem to occur at low speeds, only felt it on freeway so far.

Missing balance weight maybe?

Take her in to VW and go for a drive with them.

Brand new car? Sounds like its bad balancing friend. Simple fix really. Just take it back and let them know about it. Ask them to check balancing first. Are there highways near the dealer? If so, have them check it out themselves. If not, just check balance.

Dropped it off at dealer today to get multiple issues fixed and mentioned the noise.

3 of the issues I knew about when I took delivery of the car.

1) Terrible tint job. Getting re-done.
2) Scratch on the back glass, getting window replaced.
3) Paint chip on the back bumper, large, about the size of a nickle.

I was told it would be a "couple" days.

Jotted down the mileage, because when they told me my car might need to stay at the body-shop, all I could think of is one of those dickheads taking it home and abusing it all day.

Hopefully, I am very very wrong about the aforementioned premonition.
