Just did my first oil change at 2060 miles. Used Subaru OEM filter, installed Fumoto drain valve (F108N) and Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w30.

I'm surprised how crappy the Subaru OEM oil is. It had the viscosity of water at just 2k miles.

Also I opted for the Fumoto valve so I can now do all future oil changes at home without worrying about making a mess.

So I installed the KB shift plate. Couple things about the install. It's a lot easier if you use a smaller punch first and punch out the smaller pin then a 3/16 to punch out the larger pin. Comes out like butter this way. Then you can gently tap the small pin back into the larger pin with a soft towel and hammer.

The hardest part for me was getting the pin back in since there is barley any room to work with to get it started especially when you're trying to tap it in with a roll pin tap, the tap tends to just slide right off the pin. It was much easier to sit the pin inside of a 1/4" 12" extension socket and just use that as a punch until it's in a decent way, then you can use the regular 3/16 punch to punch it all the way in.

Impressions:
Throws are extremely! Short, I mean extremely! To note I already have the STI short shift as is. I must say I do like the length. The shifts have a very "mechanical" feel to them now. My only complaint is the amount of effort it takes to row through the gears since its now very stiff. I'm not sure if I'll get used to this but only time will tell. We'll see how it goes driving it during the week to work and back.

Pics: (I forgot to take an after pic unfortunately :( )

Alright so the bars came in. First things first I'd like to address the question you guys had about what the front bar does by itself and to be honest I did not really notice any difference from stock. With the rear bar + the front there was a slight improvement in taking away a little tiny bit of under steer and giving the slightest bit of more oversteer. (This is not something you will even notice unless you're pushing the car somewhat hard or spirited).

Anyway on to some pictures:

Ready to race!
Would love to but it looks like most of you have serious cars and I won't be able to keep up. Don't want to slow you guys down.
