Had my car in for paint correction and full interior detail. It looks so much better
I might have to go in and have a look at mine. It still functions but it’s getting noisy with random squeaks. A bit of grease will probably fix it.Finally made time for digging into that window that won't go completely up. Turns out the plastic pin that holds the regulator to the glass unalived itself. Wish I would have figured that out before I drilled out all the rivets, but whatever. Going to sound deaden before I button it all up. Gave me a good reason to pick up some new tools too View attachment 246225
Time to cut some holes in that hood for maximum racecar (and improved cooling). Finally got around to replacing the radiator. Tyrolsports newest version is 5mm thicker and 8 pounds heavier than their old version of anyone's wondering View attachment 246273View attachment 246274View attachment 246275

I think you read it backwards, the new one is heavierI want to do this for the weight savings alone...
It's not the end of the world but I am trying to do everything with weight savings in mind. I e had the idea of fabricating a lighter tubed crash bar, this will accelerate that effort.8 lbs more on the lower front end of the car sounds ideal
Naw, I'm not racing in any competitive wheel to wheel series where they would go through the car with a fine tooth comb.do you have to get that inspected for track use though?
