Because you use to drive slow and brake softly. So why would the rears need replacing before the fronts?
Not necessarily. When I use the brakes, it starts to make a grinding noise at slow speeds. More like a dust build up noise. My fronts are thick as hell. Should I replace front and back at the same time?
Just purchased EBC yellow stuff for the front and red stuff for the rear! :happyanim:
Stock rotors should be fine. well most people only do pads, lines, and fluid.Stock rotors fine with these? Or do I have to replace rotors?
Yea! This is my first time changing the pads myself... hopefully everything will be smooth. I just need to rent the tool at Oreilly. lolNice! Let us know how you like them after running them for a couple weeks.
definitely good enoughStock rotors fine with these? Or do I have to replace rotors?
To be honest, you won't transform pedal feel with any pad.
There are differences, but these aren't night and day.
Endless SSY are dedicated street pads and even the MX72s
are more street than track compunds. I wouldn't worry as
these are among the very best money can buy. Simply put,
that's why they are expensive.
Regarding pedal feel, the greatest gain is from Tyrol (USA)
and Evolity (Europe) bushings. Next point, keep your brakes
in proper condition. Frequently clean and grease guide pins
(plastilube) and caliper/pad guides (Pagid ceramic antiseize).

Guys I have to disagree with all of the negative comments on the stoptech pads. I think I have a great bite, with Tyrol the pedal feel is leagues beyond oem, and I don't have a dusting problem. I'll add that I have a similar experience with my wife's audi s4 that was recently upgraded with stoptech pads and Tyrol bushings.
I can't comment on track performance but will recommend anyone going to the track use a proper pad....I had my oem pads smoking like a chimney after a track weekend and that is what drove me to upgrade to stoptech.
