My 5dr CS GTI

I finally got it!!!
5door carbon steel GTI with leather package (called autobahn in the states), 18 inch rims and DSG
woohoo!!!!
First impression:
Very tight handling!
I dont really like the red interior lights, but i can live with them.
The salesman gave me some GTI floor mats, I think they are the "monster floor mats" or something (They are large rubber honey comb mats)
I think the 5dr is longer than I expected.
But its still nice!
I am 6'1" and was alittle skeptical of how I'd fit, but after you lower the seats, there was more than enough head room.
Man, I just wanna floor this thing... must restrain my self. but I really want to hear it sing!
I do find there is some road noise driving local around 60km/h (which is like 35~40mph i think)

The best way to get rid of the road noise is to drive a Mk5 GTI for a few days, get out of that car, then drive your MK6... it's magic.

What road noise are you talking about? They tested the Mk6 in a windtunnel with 100 mph winds and it was dead silent...

the tint is the legal limit here which is 35% all around.
Maybe I will change the bulbs, do you mean more yellow or more white?
I am kinda clueless on which bulbs to get.
I definatly wouldnt call it dead silent.
There is more noise from the road than my previous car, the acura tsx.

You should get whiter bulbs, so it matches your xenon headlights.

That actually is the upper ikea lot by leslie and shepperd.
I got it at VW villa, and I guess I got an OK deal.
Tech package would have been nice, but thats the only one they had, and if you order one it could take between a month to two.


I think I will get white fog light bulbs. They aren't yellow but they are yellowish white.

But I never made the deal.
