Hey everyone!

I recently moved from Alberta, Canada and took my Canadian GTI all the way here. I am looking for a good shop to do some mods but more importantly, I need them to convert over some things to make my vehicle compliant to US standards (swap out dashboard for speedo with MPH and add TPMS).

Any recommendations on shops near Naperville I should visit?

Thanks!

Welcome! What part of the city do you live in?

Thanks! I'm living just east of Naperville.

Yeah, it's a 2010. Maybe vagcom could be used to enable the ABS method of TPMS?

i dont think it can do that - do you have actual wheel sensors now?

Yes the 2010 can do indirect tpms via the ABS Brakes module. You need to wire up a button or use vagcom when you need to reset it.

No wheel sensors. I haven't done any modifications to make it conform yet.

If that works, I probably still need a dealership to write some letter verifying it. Or pay one to do it...
