Most shadow blue GTIs seem to be in the USA.
Mines the only one it seems on forums in the UK and its only one of two ive seen, so its nice to see more on this forum.

I'm waiting on mine too. Should just be another week or so though. I'll post pics when it arrives.

This thread definitely helped me make my decision of what color GTI to get. That metallic blue looks really good, especially in direct sunlight. I haven't had the pleasure of seeing a blue one in person yet.

Anyone else have (doesn't particuarly pertain to JUST shadow blue) a snow-flake front end from stones/chips...

Should've clearbra'd. Mines pretty bad, especially my hood and fenders..more than I've seen on others, I'll try to get a pic next time I wash it up..


I still love to death when my friend with his pearl white subaru and I wash our cars together, he tells me every time he hates me for how good the shadow blue looks washed/waxed. Near mirror finish.
