I finally have it cause I'm on a GE Rom...I haven't had a chance to use it yet but I'm dieing to! I live in a small town where those card machines that actually have that NFC thingy on them are pretty rare. Soon as I find one though I'm going to spend the extra minute to figure out how to use it to do it...Screw everyone else in line!


Does using it make you feel like you're from the future?

I should clarify, I've never used it for the NFC part more as a Paypal substitute. I have yet to see the Wallet "stations" anywhere.

Like woah. I had a G Note 1 back in the day and I thought, this is big, I couldn't handle anything bigger....but damn! Grats doe.

LMAO it's so big that it defaults to desktop sites, not mobile.

Motorola sells the developer's edition with an unlocked bootloader.

I bought the developers edition for that reason. Coming from a Galaxy Nexus, this is a very nice upgrade. I needed to have the unlockable bootloader since I'm used to tossing on a new rom whenever I wanted.

This phone is better in every way. I'm just not super impressed with the camera yet. Will continue to tinker with it to see if my impression changes. I need to emphasize how well rounded this phone is. Smallest form factor, big and vibrant screen, speedy/snappy, solid build quality, and innovative /usable features.

Haha. Yeah I think it was more the Nokia hardware that drew me in.

The Moto X has always impressed me. It's easy to hold, very fast/smooth, and has good battery life. Plus you're getting updates faster than any other phone besides the nexus.

Hmmm didn't know that Moto sold developer editions! Is that something you can specifically request at POS or do you have to order it through moto and pay full price for the phone?

That's pretty cool though. I'll have to keep that in mind next time I'm up for renewal. I was hoping Moto would have more google edition things now that they're under the google umbrella...

I've had my G2 for about 3 weeks now. Love it. However, I'm 6'4" and have pretty big hands, so I can see how the size could be an issue for some folks.

Battery life rocks, phone performance is really snappy and the camera is awesome.
