Golf R LED Tail Lights

I noticed today my drivers side reverse does not come on. I checked the connections, switched bulbs from side to side and nothing.

Anyone else have an issue with their drivers side reverse bulb?

Okay, so I used the VAG directions above and they worked fine.
But I have the opposite problem as danielj: My driver's side reverse light stays ON all the time. It's very annoying, so I just took it out. But now I only have one reverse light. Strange thing is, I don't get a bulb out error with it removed...
Any ideas guys?

That instruction works does not work for two reverse lights on Noth American cars.

Xenon without Rear Fog(North American):
- For Early built MKVI, change Byte 18 "20".
- For later built MKVI, Change byte 18 to "55" or "1F".

Sorry, but I think they look awful compared to the OEM ones. Look like a rice mod.

The OEM ones are classy (but similar to the more basic models?), I don't mind the R LED's either, just still a bit expensive IMO.

nah, it's these that i like best so far, from dectane.de as of now, hopefully on ebay or similar someday:

These tails are by the same company that I bought some LED tails from about 4 months ago for my Audi TT... They were $400 and looked good but they didnt fit the car right and after about 3 months they started warping in the heat!! If you get them, let me know how they are.. Im trading my TT for a GTI this weekend and I want LED tails but not willing to go with this company again.. just a warning.. :/
