Yes, this ball joint seems to be reminiscent of OE Audi TT control arms and TT hubs.
It gives as similar effect for less money.

I would give this some thought, but getting Superpro stuff to the US is becoming a problem. Tein is supposed to be their US distributor, but good luck getting them to tell you anything. They'll tell you the price and then tell you they're looking at shipping costs and never get back to you. They've done this to me twice. This was for Superpro's control arm set-up. I finally ended up getting it through a dealer that mostly sells their SUV stuff. It cost me a little bit more money, but I had them within a few days.

BTW,
These ball joints virtually "widen" the control arms (similar to fitting TT control arms)
for more camber while giving some adjustability within the slots.
At the same time they lower the control arm setting them back (on a lowered car)
in a more horizontal position for a rased center of roll and so a reduction of body roll.

They fit Supalloy and all stock arms including S3/Passat arms except TT arms.

Just FYI: I've spoken to the US manager for Superpro. He says they're working very hard to get more in-stock parts in the US. I've also spoken with the East Coast distribution center and they have more and more stock coming in. I can provide contact info if needed. This is a good thing as I believe I decided to do the poly bushes in the rear of my car.

Got mine here & delivered in 2 days They're A Super Pro authorized retailer. They've Got both the LCA's & Ball Joints in stock.

I've heard people recomending against the ball joints Because they were have problems with the setting staying locked in place. What do think bruce any experience with these??. Would/would've got them with the LCA's if I thought they were/are worth it.

Wow. That's a great price on the LCAs. They must be a new retailer because I searched all over eBay and could only find the folks I got mine from and retailers in Australia. Thanks for the info.

Did a Google search that included the part number & that's how I found them (Found them back in January) Got a couple Pic's of them in my build thread

That was how I searched as well and didn't come up with much. This was late last year so it's no big deal. I only paid about $40 more for mine. It was the lowest I could get them down to. I emailed the seller on eBay to see what they can get the rear kit for. Fun times will be had installing that!

Have you seen this, It actively shows what a difference the LCA's make.:w00t:





Can't wait to put them on:D, But gonna wait a couple weeks after I get my clutch, lsd, & mounts done so I can tell what kind of improvement there is with the LCA's.:thumbsup:

No. It was from OBT. These guys weren't around. If you're doing the work yourself be aware that the other side is not even remotely that easy.
