Importance of rear BBK?

j2z1

Ready to race!
So basically I'm purchasing a big brake kit.
I want to know if its important to upgrade the rear brakes as well. Or keep the rear stock?
I was getting a small 6 pot for the front and possible a 4 pot for the rear.

Or just get a 4 pot brake kit. for the front

What do you guys think?

OR, swap to R rear brakes. Vented discs in the back, rather than solid blanks.

THIS^.

I am looking to get the R BBK for my car in the near future, its the most cost effective thing out there, AND will add weight to the rear of a nose heavy car.

R rears or just keep the stock. No one fits 4-pots to the rear on a GTI.
Volkswagen also keeps them stock on rear on their FWD race cars.

Ceika makes a bbk for rear. They have a patented rear brake system as well

But you guys think just the rotors and pads are good for the rear if I fit a small 6 pot kit in the front.?

BTW - which setup will be more perferable (balanced) for the mk6 gti with the stock rears:

Brembo GT 4 pot 1 piece rotor set (330mm*28mm):

or the Forge Motorsport 6 pot 2 piece rotor (330mm*32mm)

yes ;)

to the rear - car is already pretty front heavy.

Haven't seen any vendors selling them but I have seen a few popping up in the classifieds.
